Ivanka Trump Visit to Hyderabad for Global Entrepreneurship Summit Entrepreneurs
Hyderabad Get Ready To Host Global Entrepreneurship Summit India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Summit on November 28, it will be co-hosted by Indian and US governments, the GES will bring together 1500 entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters from around the world.The summit will broadly focus on four set of sectors- Health and Life Sciences, Digital economy and FinTech, Energy and Infrastructure, and Media and Entertainment.
Modi During his meeting with Donald Trump in the US in June, PM Modi had invited his daughter for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. He had also invited the US President and the rest of his family to visit India.
Ivanka Trump, 35, promptly thanked PM Modi for inviting her. “Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for inviting me to lead the U.S. delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India this fall,” she had tweeted.
It is yet to be decided if she will also visit any other part of the country during her two-day trip. Ms Trump discussed her India visit with Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in the US last month.
Ivanka Trump will be participating in the inaugural session on November 28 and will participate in the day long events on November 29. The summit will have technical sessions starting November 29th. This is the first time GES is being held in Asia and expected to provide a platform to address some of the challenges through innovations.GES will also launch an app that will help all the delegates to network before, during and after the summit identifying and matching their synergies.
The US Consul General in Hyderabad Katherine Hadda, said, “There are 130 American companies operating in Hyderabad which in addition to creating jobs both in India and the US are actively stimulating entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment.”Bbudding entrepreneurship community would get opportunities for exposure to training, mentoring from thought leaders, networking and matchmaking.
